A spark is all it takes

This post inspired me. Well. That’s not true. Lots of things have been inspiring me lately, my creative side is just dying to be done with chores and school work so I can go back to the FUNdamentals of my life – sewing and paper crafting.

Anyway, I’m ready to do a memory project, and I think I’m going to do it on my family instead of a book. Sometimes it seems like life just goes by so fast and so much the same day after day that we don’t look around at what’s happening. So right now, just before Eli’s arrival and just after fall, seems like a good time to reflect.

I don’t have a birdcage though and besides, I’m not sure how a birdcage would fit into my memories. I was thinking of decoupaging pictures on wooden cutouts of the word “Family” or “Happiness” or something of that nature, whatever I have enough patience to cut out with the jig saw.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and of course there’s a prize waiting if you’re the winner…so post and find out!

About messymama
I'm a SAHM with a busy schedule and a love of too many things to count! I sew, I write, I draw, and I love to create. I'm always on the lookout for a new project idea. One other very important thing about me - my house is in a continual state of upheaval and mess. Slowly but surely I'm working through the piles and boxes, but I am still in the process, and some days it seems like it would be much easier to pack up and move!
